The Croft is an idyllic 19th century stone cottage located in the Peak District National Park  Derbyshire. The cottage is situated in a cul de sac, known as "The Flat", which is in a quiet part of the Heritage Village, Winster. It enjoys stunning  picturesque views across the village and open countryside. There is parking outside the cottage. The Croft is available to non -smokers and well behaved pets


The cottage is recently renovated combining superb modern facilities with the charm of original features such as oak beams and gritstone fireplaces and windows. The cottage has 2 double bedrooms, sleeping up to 5 people in comfort. There is  a living room, a large dining kitchen, a garden room and a large utility room. There is a downstairs toilet and upstairs there is a superbly equipped bathroom, with a shower and bath



The Croft has been fully equipped to the highest standards with a modern combi boiler, central heating and double glazing throughout. The appliances include dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, and a luxury range style gas cooker .  There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer for the use of guests. Bedlinen and Egyptian cotton towels are provided in the rental price.



The cottage has 32" LCD TVs to the living room and to both bedrooms. There is an i-pod DAB radio with docking station and a dvd player with a selection of films. In addition the second bedroom has  Nintendo 64 and gamecube consoles, with a large assortment of games.



The village is a great base for walking and exploring Peak District attractions such as Chatsworth House, Matlock Bath Alton Towers and Bakewell to name but a few.


Please note that the Croft has steep stairs in the house and up to the garden and may be unsuitable for young children and those with limited mobility.
